Yesoid is a youth and mentoring club that provides a warm, culturally sensitive environment where teens can unwind, spend time with friends, and feel fully understood and supported.
What We Do
One-to-One Mentoring
Boys meet weekly with a trained mentor in a relaxed, “big-brother” style setting. Sessions are informal and child-led, helping boys feel comfortable sharing what’s on their minds, setting personal goals, and working towards them at their own pace.
Group Mentoring
Small group sessions provide a safe and structured space to talk, learn from shared experiences, and build skills such as communication, teamwork, and empathy. These sessions help boys feel part of a positive, encouraging community.
Youth-Led Opportunities
We run a youth-led social action strand that gives boys the opportunity to take on leadership roles, contribute to the projects they care about, and make a difference within their community.
Youth Club Drop-In
Our open-access evening sessions, held twice a week, give boys the chance to play table tennis or pool, enjoy creative activities, and spend time with friends. Additional sessions run during the school holidays.
It provides a strong sense of belonging and offers positive, structured social time outside school and home.

60 boys receive one-to-one mentoring at any one time, with approximately 100 boys receiving mentoring over a year
- About 120 boys attended the youth club in 2025
- 40 parents received guidance and support in 2025
- 13% fewer statutory interventions among the young people we support

- 54% of teens leaving our life skills programme feel ready for adult responsibilities
- Boys' average score for feeling listened to by a mentor rose from 2.7 to 3.8 out of 5
